Using colour slate at the moment, I do sometimes switch to grey over the winter months as if you have pale skin grey is more forgiving.
Especially if it smudges or bleeds I also think it enhances grey/green eyes. If you are pale or have similar eye colour try a slate or grey.
Make sure its a greasier pencil or may drag the eye area.
